Rubb designs, manufactures, and constructs temporary and permanent fabric buildings in a range of fully customizable styles.
Designed to withstand specific wind, snow, and seismic loads based on your project’s location, local codes, and International Building Code (IBC).
Features like top-quality membrane materials and galvanized welded frames ensure durability and cost efficiency.
Translucent membranes allow natural daylight into the hangar, while white roof surfaces reflect heat.
Various hangar door solutions are adaptable to different sizes and opening requirements.
Not only are Rubb structures easy to erect, but they are also easily relocatable with minimal loss of materials.
Our hangars accommodate many foundations, including galvanized I-beams with ground anchors, ballast bars, or poured concrete.
Construction is streamlined with prefabricated elements and the ability to construct hangars in various weather conditions.
We’re here to help, from initial contact through quotation, installation, and beyond.
Rubb fabric buildings offer total customization so clients can tailor dimensions, shapes, colors, and features to their needs. From specialized doors to ventilation systems, we ensure each steel-framed structure is prepared for its intended purpose and environment.
All building frameworks use structural steel and meet local codes, without exception.
Every frame is made using the best corrosion protection system, and all steel components are post-production hot dip galvanized to the ASTM A-123 standard.
We use durable and heavy PVC-coated architectural membranes from proven suppliers for all Rubb structures. Many of our buildings can stand for 40+ years.
Builders design and make all buildings meet site-specific codes. These codes cover wind and snow loads.
Our membrane cladding is sealed and forms a weather-tight shell. It can be insulated, heated, or cooled as needed. All insulated structures are suited for dehumidified facilities.
The flexible membrane and steel framing allow for installation on uneven sites. These sites may be rocky or sloped. Buildings can withstand moderate foundation settlement.
PVC-coated polyester membrane does not propagate flame and meets the NFPA 701 and ASTM E-84 standards. When exposed to fire, our structures typically self-ventilate, allowing heat and smoke to escape.
The high-quality membrane materials and post-production galvanized welded frames ensure lasting durability and better cost efficiency.
Prefabricated elements and all-weather construction cut on-site time and the assembly process.
Our team is here to help from first contact through installation and beyond. We are 100% committed to your project’s needs and satisfaction.
“With over 80 inches of snow, this winter broke records, and we saw sustained winds in excess of hurricane force. Through it all, we continued to perform our mission in the hangar. The building has performed admirably.

Rubb’s patented Thermohall® insulated cladding system delivers cost-effective and eco-friendly benefits and can be used to clad all Rubb structure types. Insulation can be supplied in thicknesses from 2in to 8in, providing the best cost-saving thermal solution.
*Thermohall® insulation thickness is nominal (as manufactured). U-values and R-values are calculated system performance values and may differ under actual installed conditions.
| Thickness | U-Value (SI) W/m2K | R-Value (US) ft2-°F-hr/BTU |
|---|---|---|
| 50mm (2in) | 0.67 W/m2K | R11 |
| 100mm (4in) | 0.36 W/m2K | R19 |
| 150mm (6in) | 0.25 W/m2K | R27 |
