United Airlines Miami

Miami, Florida

united airlines miami cargo facility internal

This 101.7′ X2 (63m) by 400′ (122m) long twin link structure is similar to the two previous United Airlines air cargo facilities at JFK International Airport and Honolulu International Airport.

Built in 1998 and still operating flawlessly in high UV and hurricane prone south Florida, The 82,400 Ft2 (7,686 m2) facility with 32′ (10m) sidewalls features a well engineered hot dip galvanized steel frame over which is tensioned a PVC coated polyester membrane. This combination of steel frame and membrane provides an ideal weather tight shell. Utilizing a translucent white membrane for the roof means that the interior space will be a light and airy work environment. The Miami airport cargo facility is a prime example of how and why Rubb offers the best long-term investment in the storage building marketplace.
