Conference heralds the latest airport trends to take flight

The North East Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives will be welcoming airport professionals to the group’s annual conference in Portland, Maine.


Rubb USA are geared up to land at event at The Westin Portland Harborview, Portland, ME on August 18. The conference runs until August 20.


The primary purpose of the NEC/AAAE Annual Conference is to provide airport professionals that attend the event with the latest information and the newest developments in the industry so they have the knowledge they need to make airports safer, more efficient, and ultimately, more successful.


Between the well-chosen topics for the six General Sessions, the impressive list of industry leaders and featured speakers sharing their experience and know-how, plus the numerous opportunities to learn from your fellow attendees, the conference is the ideal place to get in touch with the latest developments across the industry.


The newest equipment, including the latest hangar technology from Rubb, will be covered at the event. The conference will also feature the latest communications, safety, environmental, personnel trends, as well as financial considerations of operating an airport.


The opening Icebreaker Reception begins at 4pm on Day 1 of the event. The NEC/AAAE’s conference hot topics include Attracting and Retaining Aviation Talent, Sustainability and Solar Initiatives and Runway Safety.
