Rubb recognises that all of our operations inevitably have an effect on the local, regional, and global environment
We are therefore committed to reducing this impact by the implementation of effective coordinated management control, continuous improvement and the maximum possible reduction in pollution
Environmental regulations, laws, and codes of practice will be regarded as setting the minimum standards of environmental performance
The aim is to work towards improvement in environmental performance by employees and to encourage support from suppliers and clients
The main focus will be to reduce consumption and improve efficiency in our manufacturing plant
We shall consider the environmental impact of our products at all stages of their life cycle – from design to manufacturing, customer use and finally disposal.
The Group CEO will assume the overall responsibility for the environmental performance of the company. They will assess the business regularly for compliance with this policy
Rubb will implement our policies through guidelines and training. The policy will be disseminated to employees via team meetings, posters, and specific training sessions, where the need for sound environmental practice will be encouraged
Rubb USA strives to ensure that our structures are fully reusable across the sectors we serve. We are also working on achieving 100 per cent recyclability for all materials used.
Rubb facilities, temporary or permanent, can be relocated, adapted, expanded or dismantled and stored for future operations to suit changing logistical needs. They can also be sold to new users if no longer required by the existing owners. Rubb UK offers full refurbishment and recertification services.
If necessary materials used in the structure construction are generally disposed of or recycled in san environmentally friendly manner. No materials from Rubb structures are considered to create any toxic or hazardous waste. Steel can be recycled through various means and PVC can be recycled through Texyloop, which is the Serge Ferrari operational recycling chain.
Rubb USA offers and promotes the usage of energy friendly products such as LED lighting and THERMOHALL insulation systems in our buildings. Rubb actively promotes the energy advantages of translucent PVC cladding to reduce energy consumption in Rubb buildings. Rubb buildings can also be designed to incorporate solar energy as an energy source furthering the notion that Rubb is committed to sustainable building solutions.
