Thermohall Insulation System
Through our ongoing focus on design, development and environment, we have grown to become the leading supplier of complete building and hall solutions for public and private sectors. Rubb Thermohall is the best and most eco-friendly relocatable building on the market today.
On the basis of a simple but ingenious idea that was born several years ago, we have worked hard to present a new hall concept of value one has never seen this type of building before.
Thermohall is now fully developed and patented a number of improvements, not least a unique insulation system that gives the hall completely new applications.
In our patented insulating fabric we use, of course, the market's strongest polyvinyl chloride sheets as cladding material. This fabric is in relation to volume and weight, the strongest building materials. The materials are fully recyclable.
We are especially proud that the product was chosen by Coca Cola in Germany when they were expanding their inventories, since Germany is known for having the most stringent control systems in Europe in regards to buildings. We also think it is significant that Hilding Anders AB chose this product, when they were expanding their factory premises in Poznan in Poland.
Thermohall Membrane Liner
The Thermohall membrane structure consists of an insulated insulating fabric that's built up with an outer of 1000 g / m2 which is produced by polyester yarn coated with PVC and with self-cleaning paint film that protects the PVC liner. We then weld it on soft PVC cloth tape on the back of the outer. Inner fabric of 650 g / m2 is white and with the same self-cleaning paint film on the inside that help to keep it clean. This means that the fabric reflects light very well.
The Thermohall membrane structure is then filled with glass wool insulation and sealed completely so it does not come into moisture. The membrane structure has high form stability and high tear and tensile strength. During extreme weather conditions, there is little or no movement in the liner and thus it will not deform. The membrane structure is mechanically fastened to the outside of the galvanized support structures and therefore not valuable space inside the hall. The membrane structure has good insulation effect without thermal bridges that can provide heat in the corners and fixing. The Thermohall Membrane structure is unique and achieve a u-value of ca. 0.38 for type U10 and about. 0.72 for type U5.
Heating/Insulation
Our Thermohalls come with a free span of all sizes and with two insulation types, U5 and U10. We also offer various heat sources such as oil or gas fired hot air units, radiant heating, heat pump or electric fan heaters,
Moisture
Thermohall has excellent drainage properties, is water repellent and absorbs neither moisture or odors. We deliver our Thermohalls with simple or sophisticated ventilation system that provides a good working environment.
Fire / Soundproofing
Technical regulations and guidelines set standards for both sound and fire insulation. Our patented insulating satisfies the requirements for sound passage, which is essential for our customers who are located in industrial areas or near roads or airports. In addition to the fabric's unique strength, it is long lasting, and low (if any) maintenance is required throughout the life of the building.
Security
Minimal maintenance costs and any damage can be repaired easily and inexpensively. We can also offer optimal service concepts. At the conclusion of the service and maintenance agreement with the insurance you get: up to 15 years in the building, reduced losses in the building, technical maintenance and 24 hour monitoring.
Environment
Our patented insulating is part of the natural cycle. The insulation consists mainly of recycled glass. Good and proper insulation can combine personal interests and benefits, which reduced heating costs and a stable indoor temperature year round.
Regulatory Compliance
When developing the Thermohall we have assumed the provisions of the Planning and Building Act. All halls are supplied with a free span. The halls are designed for wind - and snow loads a per current regulations.
