PPI Transport Symposium is the longest running conference and exhibition dedicated to the global forest products logistics industry. Organized by RISI, in association with the International Forest Products Transport Association (IFPTA), the event focuses on the issues surrounding the worldwide transport, materials handling, and distribution of forest products.

Representing more than 160 public port authorities in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America, the 2011 AAPA Convention is expected to draw nearly 1,000 attendees from port authorities throughout the Americas, including port commissioners and executives, industry experts, exhibitors, and guests.

October is tradeshow month at Rubb, Inc. Gordon Collins, Director of Marketing, and Jim Chadbourne, Sales Manager, have just returned after a week in Liverpool England where the PPI Transport Symposium (Pulp and Paper) show took place last week. From all accounts, it was a busy week and many new as well as old customers stopped by the booth to say hello.
This week Rubb, Inc. is exhibiting at the annual Break Bulk show in New Orleans, Louisiana. Stop by and see Troy Cupp, Regional Sales Manager, and Bob Normandeau, Bulk Sales Representative, at booth #447 to see what’s new for 2009. The “Big Easy” is a great place to exhibit and everyone enjoys the city’s outstanding hospitality.

Hosted by the Port of New Orleans, Rubb Buildings will be an exhibitor (booth 437) at the 19th Annual Breakbulk Transportation Conference and Exhibition in New Orleans October 14-16, 2008. This conference is the oldest and largest gathering of breakbulk transportation executives. It brings together shippers, carriers, forwarders, logistic providers, ports, attorneys and government officials for three days of networking and discussions of the latest trends in the breakbulk industry.

Rubb Buildings will be an exhibitor at the 97th Annual Convention of the American Association of Port Authorities (Booth 17) in Anchorage, Alaska. The convention runs from September 21-25, 2008.
The week-long convention includes technical and policy committee meetings, business sessions and social events allowing port professionals and others in the marine transportation industry to exchange views.
The Rubb Group has more building area under roof in ports throughout the world than in any other market, and this is a chance to show the unique attributes of these structures to port authorities in the western hemisphere.
